7th Anniversary Week - Day 3

Assalamualaikum..

Yesterday was our own off day for us to rest. So today it's Day 3 of our 7th Anniversary Week!

Woke up very early in the morning with sports shoe on, simply can't wait to get started that I manage to reach our meeting place before Irwan do! Usually, it's either he always so early or I'm not on time.

Guess where we go?

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve!

From the map, the longest route is less than 2km and it stated that the walking duration is approx 2hrs. I was surprised that it will take that long because usually if I ran 2km, I will complete it within 12-14mins.

But then....

Starting je nak naik bukit da semput. Lagi-lagi si dekni:

Happy benar to finally reach the steepest hill at the starting point

 Bukit nye super steep. Confirm kalau jatuh golek non-stop. You really can feel your thigh start to burn.

Halfway from the red trail, we turn to the blue trail which go uphill again.

Once on top, the view kat bawah is awesome. Lake color biru macam kat mini Phuket yang tak boleh swim.

We then proceed to the yellow route which is the toughest. 

This route goes uphill and downhill with huge steep step which we have to be very careful because if you ter-trip, I tak tau what to say..really. No wonder we saw some of the hikers use hiking sticks because it's easier to balance and prevent from falling.

There's also uphill and downhill muddy slop. Boleh ter-slip.  Lagi-lagi time tu baru abes wet weather.

After completing the yellow route, we continue to the green route sebab dari map, ada natural cave and mini waterfall.

 Nevertheless the view is amazing and we breathe the fresh air of nature.

After about 2.4hrs of hiking.....

 We end up super muddy shoes. Fortunately, they provide tap water with beros khas untuk cuci kasut.

Before exit, we took a tour around the exhibition hall.

Later in that afternoon, we went to Irwan's friend wedding at Bukit Batok. We was hoping that his group of friends and the pengantin will be there. Dah semangat bawak DSLR... unfortunately, either they have left or belum sampai.

So self-take picture lah..

It was a simple day today but I really did enjoy, especially hiking! Challenging but with Irwan there, it makes it more exciting sebab susah nak suruh dia go for outdoor sports activity. Tak nak berpeluh la, takot hujan la.. But alhamdulillah tak hujan and it all went well.
