7th Anniversary Week - Day 2

Assalamualaikum...

It's the second day today!

Whenever he see this poster, he will boast about himself and thinks he is popular. Super vain fiance -_-
Find his face in the poster.

Well, we travel from the west all the way to the east just to have our late lunch date at Central Thai (Changi Airport)

I was planning to eat tom yam noodles before reaching there but they only serve the soup. The menu is more to the dishes that you have to eat with rice. There isn't much choices for those you wants ala-carte dish for yourself.

Ice Lime Mojito
I ordered Ice Lime Mojito for myself. Doesn't sound like Thai right? Sounds like a Japanese drink. Was expecting it to be a juice drink or syrup base but.. it taste like sprite + mint leaves + lime. And this is label as 'recommendation' in the menu? Hmm..

Ice Honey Lemon Tea
Since I don't really like soda drink, I exchanged my drink with Irwan. He ordered Ice Honey Lemon Tea which as refreshing. Definately, I prefer this!

Since there's no soup-based noodles for 1, I ordered Sambal Fried Rice. In stated as 'spicy' in the menu but really, it's not that hot. I don't even taste the spiciness of the sambal, only dried prawn paste. After eating halfway, I exchange my dish my Irwan.

Fried Sambal Rice
His was Fried Kuay Teow Chicken which was up to by taste buds. Irwan can't take spicy food like I do. That's the second reason why we exchange our dish halfway. Haha.

The Kuay Teow is not dry, which I like and you can really taste the mild spicy chili paste.

Fried Kuay Teow Chicken
Pandan Chicken
I would definitely give thumbs up for this boneless soft juicy yummy finger-licking chicken wrap in aromatic pandan leaves! This dish made our day out of all the dishes we've tried.

We actually ordered Ice Chendol but cancel it last minute as our stomach was so bloated that we could not fit in any more food. Hope to try it next time.

Overall, it was alright. Maybe, 2.5/5? For the same quantity of food but better quality, I prefer Koh Nangkam. Even cheaper. I can't help but to compare.

Afterwards, we just jalan-jalan at Changi Airport, taking random shots.

Airport staff canteen. It's our memory 5-6 years ago, when we were teenagers and don't have that much money to have our lunch-date, we ate at the cheapest place, a canteen. Things still look the same and the cheap price of food remain. Dulu kesian, nak berdating tapi tak de duit, kadang-kadang bawa bekal makan dalam mall. Will always remember because now, dah tau erti bersyukur  biler ade rezeki lebih nk makan restuarant. Alhamdulillah..

Since school holiday and Christmas is coming, there's lots of activities and decorations at Changi Airport. We went to all the terminals.

So that the end of the 2nd day Anniversary Week. It was simpler than yesterday but meaningful. Tomorrow is so-called our off day. Our 3rd day will continue on this Sunday.
