Salam all
The new manager in the store I work in couldn't have been worse. She's so fussy over small things and always mention, "the system said.../follow the rules". With the glasses on her nose and wrinkle face, I am sure the rest of the staff will plead Hasinah (our previous manager) to come back.
Actually, the new manager treated me okay la.. but the others told me that they cannot work and take off as and when they want to. So now, is she changing the system of flexing working days or she follows it as she always said. When I asked them what do they did? They just kept silent. I always notice that certain people are loud when they are in groups or when talk behind people's back but when they face the person, they just kept silent. Just like my boyfriend.
I remembered when Irwan and I, in the train listening to music w/o headphones. It wasn't that loud and we only played 1 or 2 songs. That's it. A 18 or 19 year old guy purposely turn on the music on his handphone even louder. When we stop playing, he stop. So we try again. Once more, he did the same thing. He then later, place his handphone camera at us, I know that he is going to take a snapshot of us.
I then took out my handphone and take a snapshot of him (in which I didn't really snap) and said to him, "Are you taking our pictures and put it in your blog? I am taking it too....your pictures in a gay website!" He then stares at Irwan. Irwan actually did nothing. He just kept silent.
I stared at him but his eyes were too afraid to look back at me. I told him, "Are you a kid or an adult? If you are an adult, be like one." I added, "You are such a kitty cat, afraid to stare at girls"
Again, "oooo..look at your red eyes, I am so sure that you are going to try.. huhu... such a cry baby!"
He's like a stone. Keeping silent and yet eyes still sticks to Irwan. Irwan fall asleep aftewards. I asked him, "You want to play games? Let's play. Peek-a-boo!!" When we were about to alight, I came towards him and said, "Don't being a cry baby okay. Everything is going to be fine kid. Bye-bye!" I waved and did and action of wiping my tears to tease him.
Okay, I am bad. But who starts it first? I really dislike people to indirectly pick up a fight. If you don't like what we are doing, then face us. Be like an adult. How immature can Singaporean get when the last week newspaper stated, "Teachers wearing bikini is immoral". What the heck?
If she is a Muslim, then fine. But she's not and she have a right to do that. You mean every girls in the beach are immoral?
And another example of people keep complaining of an increase of public transport fares and utility bills. But buying a cigarette and branded stuff shouldn't be a problem at all. That's condircting isn't it?
Talking about cigarettes, I experience countless number of teenagers trying to buy it from the store I work in. When I asked for an I/C. Here's their reply:
1) Sorry, forget to bring.
2) Ah....must show ar?
3) Aiyah, don't worry, I'm 18.
My answers to them:
1) Ok everymind. You go home, take your IC then come back here. Then I'll see if I should sell it to you or not.
2) Duh, of course!
3) Where's the proof?
or if they still want to buy..
4) You asked your 18 and above 18years old friend to buy it for you and show I/C. Or I know what, you just ask anyone around la.
Some give sympathic face, others dissappoinment. But I never occurred those who rebel back. My friend had encountered that. But if they did it no, I make sure they will pee in their pants.
Whenever customer purchase only one goods, I will asked if they need carrier. Some of them pekak badak, wearing their earphone with a loud tune did not answer back. So I take a risk. I either give them carrier or no. When I dont' given them, "Carrier." "I've just asked you few seconds ago whether you need it. And you just kept silent so I take it as a no." If I give it, "I don't need carrier." I will answer, "Take it out yourself la".
I may have the potiential to be the worst customer service people every met. Sometimes, if the previous customer talk rude to me, I will let it out the next customer. "They always said customer is always right. But bad customer is never right." or "I wonder why we have feedback or complain box. But we ourselves don't have box to place our complains about customers."
Okay, i shall end here. In a rush.
Salam,
Rohani
