When everyone accepts everyone to be prefect.... It ends up the other way round.

Salam all,

I dislike people who indirectly insult me or anyone. I dislike people who thinks that they are too pious and looks down on others who are not.

Who are they to tell you not to wear head scarf anymore? Who are they to tell you that your prayers are not accepted? Who are they to tell you that you are already out of religion but in your heart you still have faith?

I am not talking about me or anyone else. Let this be objective.

I always realized that everyone expects every women who wear headscarf to be very pious and never every make a mistakes. When we make a simple mistakes, they will said, "Take out your tudung, you are not worth wearing it." Who are they to judge us without even asking why? They do not even know the reason we wear it in the first place. Some wear because they have to, but in their heart they know that are not ready.

If they are ashamed of looking at us in that manner, then don't look. Else, talk to us nicely. Do not raise your voice and said, "I am ashamed to look at them." Freak off, if you think that's the correct way to change people. You worsen the situation.

And if they finally take out the scarf. You will said, "What the heck. I am so ashamed. First, wear tudung. Now don't wear. How can like that?" Asked yourself, what have you done?

I am not trying to be mean. I remind, be objective. Accept people and you do your part to pray and hope they will change. Not insult. That's not how it should be.

I clearly remembered a true incident where my tuition leader told me last year. A repent tatooed guy walk into a place to pray. He could not take off his tatooed for a long time. And when he about about to pray, an old man stopped him and said, "Your prayers will not be accepted." That tataooed guy decided not to pray and walk out. In the first place, is he praying to that old man or to Him?

It's time to think and help. Not insult and walk away. It's not how it should be. If we made a mistake, help us and take us to the right way. Furthermore, we are brothers and sisters.

Regards,
Rohani
