My son is now 17 months old. Oh no, he will be entering Toddlerhood next month! Can't believe he's no more called a 'baby' but he will always be in my eyes.
He has walked a few weeks before turning 1 year, followed by running 2 months following that. He loves jumping now, especially when we bring him to the trampoline or on bed.
He understands whatever we said to him and even replied back!. When I said to him, "Mana air? Minum air nak." He will find his water bottle and drink it. Or when his Atok told him to bring the ball, kick the ball or throw the ball. He will do it as he is told. He knows the difference between bring, kick and throw.
His favorite advertisement on TV is, "Akak-akak Sangat" & "Trivago". He will literally do the akak-akak sangat action and when he saw Trivago, he will point to the TV and said "Vago! Vago!" Tri nye tak de. He speaks a lot nowadays, can talkback somemore!
The words he speaks everyday is, "Ade", "Takde", "Ball", "Bird", "Cat", "Kakak", "Uncle". He skipped the important words like Ayah Ibu Nenek Atok. When we teach him to say this, he will pull his face. He's definitely a cat lover, like me! His face automatically lighted up whenever he sees cat, be it on screen or real life. He will point and smile, "Cat!Cat!Cat!" He's not afraid to pat Abang or Putri.
He is becoming expressive. When he doesn't like or want it, he will shake his head. He will point out to the things he wants. Sometimes he will fake things, like fake laugh or fake coughing. He knows how to salam and wave like saying "Bah! Bah!" Means bye.
Definitely not afraid of stranger. If a stranger smile to him, especially in the train, he will smile and wave back. What I am afraid of, he will put both his hands up for a stranger to carry him! There was once, while we were eating in the KFC, he walked around and asked a lady to carry him while she was eating.
He remembered things so well. He will remember where his uncle place this music speaker. He ask him to follow him to his uncle room and point out the the cupboard on top.
He has not only grown physically but mentally. So fast lah! I just don't want his round cubby face and baby fats to go away. I want to gigit them all day.

Ok, enough of my son. How about my husband? He has 6 months to go before he graduates with a Diploma in Engineering. Sometimes I tease him, "Da tua bangka, da jadi bapak, baru ingat nak belajar! Dulu muda2, tk nk belajar betul2" However, I know it's not easy to juggle family time, study time and worklife. Whenever he has his weekends off, he will plan a day out for 3 of us. Especially for our son, to indoor playground or interactive musuem.
I have a great job right now. That's why I'm typing now.. at work! Haha. It's not stressful at all. At times, it will be busy but not everyday. There's nothing to complaint about colleagues and I have an amazing boss and manager. Super duper understanding and they have a lot of empathy. I have never ever see boss or manager raise their voice and if there's a problem, we all work it out together.
For example, when the delivery schedule is super tight and there's no way for us to reschedule. Boss will volunteer to help out. He will deliver himself! Boss of the company u know! That's how humble he is. So humble that during my Hari Raya Open House, he wore slipper and shorts. If you see him outside, you will never know that he owns a company. I wish this company will prosperous having such a great leader.
I have a wonderful job, a responsible husband, the cutest son, an understanding in laws and a roof over my head. Alhamdulillah..
