WEDDING, HONEYMOON & MARRIAGE

Assalamualaikum...

MARRIED LIFE
Alhamdulillah, I'm married now. A wife to an awesome husband Md. Irwan. How's married life? I feel so happy to wake up and see the love of my life beside me, helping me to do certain house chores and as usual he always have stories to talk about everyday. I have yet to learn how to cook. I'm currently staying with my in-laws. Supposely, we have to stay at my house at least 2 weeks but due to my work, since I'm working night shift (after a long long holiday) my husband decided that we stay at his house a week after our wedding. In regards to house chores, I never feel so tired doing it. It's been stressful the first few days, especially when there's so much laundry to do yang bertimbun during our honeymoon. But I now finally manage to handle it well.

Alhamdulillah, my relationship with my in-laws are more closer compared to when I was their son's gf/fiance. I can now talk openly with my mother-in-law without any hesitation. My father-in-law has been very helpful with the household technical work (eg: pasang kipas, ketuk dinding, set up TV). I warned my husband to learn from his dad sebab tak kan bila ada rumah sendiri panggil ayah kan? hahah. As usual, my relationship with my brothers-in-law are still the same, happy-go-lucky. May Allah blessed my in-laws with a beautiful paradise afterlife and murahkan rezeki mereka. Amin!

HONEYMOON
How's honeymoon? It's was fun, exciting and adventurous. Peaceful sangat2 macam tak nak balik. Everyone there boleh tolak ansur and tahap kesabaran mereka memang tinggi. Our private tour guide Ms Putu and supir (driver) are very kind and helpful towards us. They will give us tips on how to find the best places, how to react to street sellers and they give a beautiful insight of Bali. If we go Bali again, we will definitely use their service again.

We stayed 4D3N at Walos Villa & Spa. We were surprise at our villa is super huge with kitchen, living room, bathroom, masteroom and swimming pool. Thumbs up for their cleanliness and room service. Oh ya, the food too!! Everyday we had our in-house breakfast. Really high-class! We had our 30mins spa on the last day and my husband snores during the massage because it was really relaxing. haha.

During our stay, we also visit the temple, palace, volcano, batik & silver factory and Jibaran dinner by the beach! I love our dinner by the beach as we watch the sunset and there's a short fireworks. The seafood served was fresh and rice was piping hot. We took two-way flight using Garuda Airlines with meal. Meal nampak je macam sikit tapi fulfilling!

Sadly, the day after we came back to Singapore, my husband felt sick and the next day I felt sick and now my mother in law is sick. Semua berjangkit. But doctor said, it's normal after holiday sickness la. Sebab we both da lama tak pergi overseas.

WEDDING
Lastly, how's my wedding? I never expect myself to be the very over-emotional bride. Before the wedding, I always told my friends, confirm my husband is going to cry-cry-cry during wedding. Skali, it was me la! I cried during the soleminization, during salam mak bapak and my in-laws, during both wedding speech at my venue and my husband venue. For 2 days, I melalak 5 times and I don't care my make up hancur ke tk. haha. My mak andam, Kak Nor (from WKG) always said, "Da jangan nangis, ni last kopek eh." Coz she always have to touch up.. but i still cried! Cannot tahan. haha.

My husband relax je. Lafas ijab qabul hanya sekali dengan lantas dan penuh confident! The photoshoot and videography services by D'shootz (Abang Lufti and Airoon) was excellent. They make us have self-esteem and confident in ourself so that the outcome of photoshoot will look natural. Bridal and andanman by Weddingku Gallery was great. From the 4 outfits, I most I like is my sanding outfit. Comfy and the sanggul lintang tk heavy. And the MUA Kak Nor service was superb! Not only she can get along with me, but with my whole family la. She was very patience because I keep messing up with the make up.

I was extremely happy when I saw my dream garden them decor by ISS Weddings. It's really really me! And I applaud the service by Abang ISS because I can see that he is always trying he's very best to make the bride/groom vision of pelamin became reality. As for DJ service by MI studios, makes you feel that you do not need to worry at all except giving them list of songs to play, when to play and itinerary. The voice of the emcee betul2 macam professional DJ kat radio.

The only unfortunate event is my caterer FDCS. There's hiccups on the first day, nikah and makan malam. Quality is there but not quantity. After I feedback to FDCS on the first day, they manage to make it up on the 2nd day, the event. I am very very worried that the food won't be enough. Even when I'm sitting at pelamin I still have doubts on the catering service. The good news is that the food is more than enough and we have plenty of leftovers. (:

Oh ya, wedding cake by Fantazia Yani was pretty!!!! Her service was impressive from the day I enquire till the day I return back the cake accessories after my wedding. She always call me instead of messaging to avoid miscommunication and she's always reply promptly! Less than 1hr dia da reply or callback. Sireh junjung by Gubahan Cinta is the same too. Kak Wanie gave me her latest creation.. masyaAllah, it was so beautiful! Bunga Pahar service by Rozita Ribbons was great! Kak Rozita gets me the color of bunga pahar rose that compliment by decor. And many of my guest said the bunga pahar looks blooming on stage. Lagik satu, photobooth by Zudrya Creations was purrrfect!! Before this I was actually hesitant to have photobooth sebab takut orang tak nak bergambar. Bila tengok photobooth album, only left 2 pages empty. And the design cover and backdrop is just what I want.

The only thing I should have plan better is assigning task to my relative or sisters. Because I assigned all the task to my one and only 3rd sister, she was super busy that she cannot handle all at one time. And the hadang was so last minute. Imagine of the night of my nikah, I called up my colleagues to prepare hadang ideas and mind you, they are all non-Malays and this is there first time attending to a Malay wedding. My cousin Yazid was super helpful during the hadang process. Yang peliknya, dorang semua lupe nak mintak duit hadang dari groom and my husband relax je pass through the gantry area for free. :p But seriously, I can't thank enough to my colleagues and my cousin for their help. Really really touch my heart.

A REMINDER
As a reminder to all BTBs or GTBs, please please langsaikan semua payment by the end of the majlis and no hutang-hutang.You really can feel a huge relief biler tak de hutang. For 2.5yrs I saved up approx $17,000 for my wedding approx all by myself and I don't feel regret at all. In fact, I don't even look forward how much duit salam I will received because I never ever depend on it to cover my cost. Instead, all duit salam I gave it to my parents (end up my father does not want, so give it to mother only). Same goes to my husband. We are free from any wedding debt! Alhamdullillah.
