Happy 7yrs 5months Anniversary

Assalamualaikum...

Today marked our 7yrs 5 months anniversary of being together and another 4 months 4 days to go to becoming husband & wife.

Our engagement period is going to due soon next month though. Haha! Coz janji ikat 2.5 yrs max tp da over limit. Wasnt expecting a long engagement period but getting married after he turned 30 and i turned 26 was just the right age for us not only to be married but to handle the responsibilities.

My makciks & pakciks semua garu-garu kepala kenapa tkde news nk kahwin.. most of them thought sebab tk jadi. Ish.. jauhkanlah. InsyaAllah our relationship will become halal and to Jannah.

I've recently read several articles & blogs that singles does not want to get married because of the high wedding cost nowdays. To be honest, 3 years back i really dont think i can save that much money to held a wedding. I've calculate that limit2 for 500pax wedding is around $15k (2012 market price).

But Alhamdulillah, Allah has given me rezeki since i've become engaged. My salary went up, my salary allowance went up,  i kept receiving maximum amt of quaterly bonus, my workplace shifted nearer to my house, i get to do many OTs, i was converted from contract to perm staff which give me more benefits & so on. Same thing happens to Irwan.

If you have the niat to dirikan masjid, insyaAllah He will help you.  But you MUST usaha. Nk duit lebih tp tk nk OT, main judi. Nk dpt promotion tp asyik MC buat kerja tk betul. Lagi teruk, nk buat majlis kahwin tergempak tp berhutang. So cannot like that la.

I remember few yrs back I asked my colleague how much he spend for his daughter needs monthly. When he mentioned the amount he spend on susu, labour cost, pampers and so on.. I said, "wah, skrg ade anak pun nk kena pakai duit byk eh."

He smiled and said, "dulu pun i thought i can never have enough money to bring up a child. I was very worried. But after she  was borned, rezeki came pouring in. So when u get married and have a child, dont worry too much...Allah will help you." 

So yeah, moral of the story.. we always worried abt the future.. but if you have good intention why worry right? (:
