Wedding cake. I set aside $300 budget for wedding cake thinking that it will be more than enough but after I surveyed and asked for quotation.. Oh my.. oh my.. confirmed tak cukup! Most vendors cake price starts from $400; ada belum include delivery, accessories, designing and etc etc.
I've been eyeing on one of the vendor for the past 6 months as I've tried the cupcake and absolutely love it. However, there's lack of service. Replied to my enquiries weeks after and there's one time, I asked when can I collect the cupcakes, she asked me when did I order. -_-
The designed and cakes are real good but for a wedding, I do not want to take risk for the service. Takut-takut selepas majlis cake baru sampai.
Well, I saw Fantazia Yani post recently that she was having promotions for wedding cake/cupcakes which I find it very reasonable. What caught my eye was the $300 (50 cupcake + a cake) promotion which definitely suit my budget. She replied to my enquiries fast and with patient when I keep asking her so many questions. I've yet to confirmed because my sis said she wants to order the cupcake first as we've never tried it before. Tapi, the slots for 2014 are filling up fast!

Another cake that caught my eyes is Charmz Affairs Bakeshop. The design and cupcakes flavors are similar to a vendor which I've been eyeing for the past 6 months but reply to my enquiries are much faster. Price wise, is affordable which you can view at their website.

I want a simple wedding cake with cupcakes along with it so that we can give away to guest. I want the frosting to be cream-based, icing is a no-no.

Above photos are my type of wedding cakes. Simple kan. Tak payah susah design. Kalau bunga nye fake pun tak pe, asalkan cake bukan dummy. I've tried to search high and low for this type, but not many have this design.
In a meantime, I've made my own cake topper yesterday:

My sister said, cake boleh nanti-nanti. But I told her, nanti-nanti next year price da naik, lagi out of budget.
I'm still deciding on the above 2 vendors. Have to wait for my sister to taste it first next week.
