Food Review : Yellow Submarines Cheesesteaks

Assalamualaikum,

Headed for a lunch with fiance at Yellow Submarine Cheesesteaks today. I just went there last week with my sister. Because the food was so irresistible and appetizing, I can't wait to try again. Located near Toa Payoh MRT (less than 5 mins walk) and has just officially announce it's halal-certification on 14 Aug 2013.

Although it may seem like a fast-food food, it is not. First of all, the style of ordering is different. It is similar to when you are ordering Gong-Cha. Go to the counter and place an order, they will give you the drinks and a receipt with Q-no to collect your food.

Secondly, the price is slightly pricier than a normal fast-food but.... the quality of food is tremendously good!

The fries taste like home-made; big and crispy with generous amount of melting cheese on top of it - Perfect! And I love the coleslaw - it has raisin inside!

Ordered set#2 & set#5 - both are chicken. The buns are soft and easy to get your teeth sink in through the  tender and juicy chicken. Yum yum.. makes me want to eat again while typing this. Hah!

It is true when Yellow Submarines Cheesesteaks said, that it is Love At First Bite.

We ate at the 2nd Level. Although the place I might say, is a bit cramp, the design of the wall and colors is welcoming.

I hope they will have branch out more, to have franchise to every heartland mall.  So that I can eat it often (:
