Weight Loss Plateau

Assalamulaikum all,


Results from my Venus Run was out - 43mins for 5km.

After my very first Run, I'm addicted in joining any 5km run event. And this is what my sis & I have sign up for:

I used to run up to 3km every 3 times weekly. Now, I'm training myself 5km run, twice per wk and aiming below 40mins.

Can't wait for the upcoming 11th May run!! It's a women run again =D

My weight loss is now plateau between 57kg - 58kg (after 4-5kg weight loss).

For those who does not know what is weight loss plateau, refer to the video below:



When I give in the same effort, at most it will maintain my 57kg. Everytime I weight myself at the end of the week, I do get disappointed that I did not see at least the number 56 on the scale. Huhu..Thus, my sis and I went to 3hr Flat Tummy Detox crash course, conducted by Suria Mohd.

I enjoy myself during the course. They weight each and everyone of us and here's my result:
  • Height: 158cm
  • Weight: 58.1kg (after my sis and I shared small grill Fish Mattahan flame and ice cream..heh)
  • Body Fats: 31.1% (Healthy: Below 30%)
  • Visceral Fats: 5 (Healthy: Below 9)
  • BMI: 23.3 (Healthy: Below 24)
  • Body Age: 33 (Healthy: Must be the same as your current age)
  • Ideal weight: 52.8kg
So I failed the Body Fats and Body Age.

She gave us tips and benefits of detox. One great thing about her weight-loss method is that there's no such thing as supplement, pills or shaker drinks. She encourage us to buy superfood. The all-natural, non-chemical, non-GMO food. I bought Raw Honey, Apple Cider & K-Salt.

Everyday I'll drink Watermelon Honeygar (Distlled Water + Apple Cider + Raw Honey + Pieces of watermelon + Rosemary) and 4 times/week I'll make juice with a pinch of K-Salt. However, I struggle to stick to her detoxification plan.. I can only make it for 3 days. Huhu. I couldn't resist not eating white rice!!!

After the course, I self-learn about detoxification by books and internet. You know, by right everyone should poo at least once a day but I never. It's not because I do not want to poo because I don't feel like - no matter I much I tried to push it through. If I force it, my left kidney will hurt.  I used to drink laxative tea everyday, so that I will poo everyday. However, there's side-effect.. you will lose colon muscle.

As for now, I only drink is twice a week. So I poo once every 2-3 days.

Today, after so much research how to improve my digestion, I tried jucing raw green vegetables (brocolli + cucumber), added half apple, lemon and thumb of ginger. What happen in the next 30 mins? I poo 3 times today and feel a huge relieve!! And sorry to say, you can really smell the raw veg before you flush. Hehe..

Usually, I will juice 1:1 ratio of veg and fruits. Today, when I juice 3:1 ratio of more veg and fruits, I can feel the difference. Earlier, in the noon, I make pure green tea which cinnamon. According to my own self-learning, cinnamon helps to aid digestion. When I did that, the next 30mins, I poo again.  Before today, I did not pass motion for 3 days. That is how bad my digestive system.

So this is what I plan to do to get pass my weight-loss plateau and improve my digestion. Everyday, I drink:
Morning: 1 cup of pure green tea with cinnamon
Afternoon: 12-16oz of Juice (3:1 ratio of Veg:Fruits and add ginger)
Everning:  1 cup of Hazelnut milk (non-GMO)
Throughout the day: 1.7 litres of Honeygar (add watermelon + rosemary)

There's so much I would like to say in this entry but I'm running out of time. Have to go out and run my errands.
