I called in sick for work on Saturday - having flu, headache and a slight fever plus no motivation to work. I spent the whole day in bed, reading Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. Eversince I read The Wedding by the same author, I became obsessed with his other books. I really thought romance book are too cheesy but his are not. Once I read the first page, I find it so hard to put it down. That's why I managed to finish reading Safe Haven in just one day! It's addictive, like a drug.
Every page and every chapter in this book make me want to keep reading and anticipate more. The storyline are great - suspense & romance. As I Googled this book, I found out that it will be created into a movie next year (here). Ah!!! I can't wait. As for now, I am officially a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks. Hehe...
A Bend in the Road is another book I read before this. A really good book with an engaging storyline - Recommended! But I must say, Safe Haven is by far the best Nicholas Sparks book I've read (:
