When vocab goes wrong...

There's a time when Irwan is very confident, too confident I must say, that he use the wrong vocabulary.

Rice coooker??
He had some dissatisfaction with his colleague and said, "Kite tak suke orang kacau rice cooker." "Huh? Rice cooker ape plak?", I asked as the topic he said does not relate to a rice cooker.
He confidently said, ''Kacau rice cooker la.. tu pun tak tau. Kan yang omputih ckp, gaji tu mcm rice cooker"
Oh, now I get what this saying to say & was amused. "Alah.. Rice bowl la awak!"

Humble & boastful
Sometimes, Irwan is just being boastful of his achievements that he keep repeating the same thing. I told him, "Awak ni... kena be humble tau."
He: Eh, mmg kite humble ape.."
I: Huh? Mane ade. Asyik show-off je.
He: Err, humble tu ape?
I: Humble tu rendah diri.
He: Ape show-off tu dlm bahasa omputih ape?
I: Boastful.
He: Haha.. kite nk ckp, kite mmg boastful pe. Bukan humble.
Tu la, case boastful sangat, sampai tak tau ape vocab dia use.

Cinta Monyet is not Monkey Love, it's Puppy Love
I was chatting with my best friend, complaining about relationships.
I: One day, he will realise that it's just a monkey love and regret about this.
She: Oooo.. Rohani, it's not monkey love.
I: True what.. confirm monkey love.
She: No, what I mean it's that, it should be called Pupply Love.
Hahahah.. coz I translate Malay to English, Cinta Monyet = Monkey Love but it should be called Pupply Love instead. If English translate to Malay, Cinta Anjing!!!
