New job

Salam all,

Alhamdulillah... I finish my 2-weeks job training!!! Erm... only after I took the re-test of theory paper. Haha.. I had my test on Thursday, an open-book test. When my trainer is away for meeting, I secretly go around the table, asking the seniors for answers (; Haha, got 72/100. But the passing marks is 80. So one of the senior, go through the corrections with me and told me to just memorize the answers. The re-test paper is actually the same as the previous one. So I just write down the answers I memorize, and ta-da.. 92/100. Haha..

1st week of training was so theory, that I felt very sleepy. When my trainer goes for a meeting, I sat beside the seniors and watch them doing the job. There's a point of time, I sleep an hour straight beside a senior.

2nd week of training was more of practical - troubleshooting and on-the-job training. I start to pick up calls but trainer has to watch over me. After few days, I get used of calling people and make myself feel more relax that I walk around the office barefoot.

In my previous job, in a small company, my colleagues always remind me to wear my shoes. And I always sit 'bersila' on the office chair. Haha.. I brought that habit along in my new job, an MNC company, a big one with international clients.

I still adjusting myself working from a private small company to an international big company. There are huge differences in terms of work prospect, discipline & management. I do miss my previous job. When I quit, I'm worried about who is going to fix the printer, do follow-ups, make own wise decision & etc. In a small company, you have to everything outside your job scope. But in a big company, you get the one and only task you assigned for & the benefits are much worth it, like company transport, allowance, prayer room, performance bonus & etc.

I can't wait to start work next week, yahooo.. 4 days work week only!! but 12hours per day. -_-

Take care everyone!

Signing off,
Rohani
