Last day!

Finally, after nearly one year of enough learning & patience, I left the company, leaving 5 people behind.

I'm very surprised & pleased to get a pleasant farewell dinner & an expensive Baby-G watch from my employer. Boss said it was a pity to let me go and offered me a part-time position in the company, but I turn it down. It's wasn't about the money any longer, it's about the company. I saw it suffering.

There's never a time boss scolded me or even gave me a stern look even though I always came late to work. I mean really late, 30 mins late. And not even one staff or the manager, gave me a big fat scolding. It's really weird. Nevertheless, even though I'm the number 1 latecomer, I've always complete what I did to do, and help others even when I'm really busy.

There are lots of experience I gain when working for this company. Take initiative - Don't wait for order to be instruct when you know what you can do. Independent - if no one teach you, find out yourself. Most important... Always keen to learn - Keep learning even it is out of the job scope. I've learn how to fix a printer technically when everyone keeps complaining about it. I've learn how to propose new ideas to sales team and get it done, even though I'm in the operations department.

I don't know why, I've always learn better & quicker by doing it, rather than seeing it. I guess that's why I fail in school (again & again).

I'm always proud when I saw someone who I taught or guide, is doing well when I myself, aren't proud that I'm always failing.

Nevermind..

I'm doing it again. This is my final chance & I cannot afford to lose it.

I still do miss doing my job at the company, but I can't stay there if I want to widen my experience level.
