Siblings outing

Salam all,

CNY holiday was a blast! I really had a long weekend and relaxing week.

Before watching Percy Jackson & the Lighting Theif, my sisters, cousin (Syafiq) & I ate at Swensen. Punyalah sesat nak carik Swensen in ION Orchard. You can only take the lift there, at basement 1.

Though it was the first day of CNY, the Shaw cinema was pack with huge crowd, even the Chinese wearing Cheongsam were seen there.

I would give the movie rating as 2/5.

Seriously, it's not worth it at all. It's like a small scale Harry Potter movie that is long-winded and expected ending, a pure fairlytale storyline. I expect a big war like Narnia version, or even better like The Lord of the Rings. This movie, was nothing compared to that.

But it's okay if you are a kid below 12 years old.
(:

We then had a snack at Boat Quay while waiting for my sisters' friend to tag a long for fun fair ride.

Speaking of Boat Quay, I remembered when I was 15 years old, I asked around asking where's Boat Quay. Most of the strangers looked puzzled, as I pronounced Boat Quay as "Boat Kueh". Little did I know that it should be pronounce as "Boat 'key'". -_-

At 8pm, they arrived. We headed off to Esplanade where there's a big funfair called Uncle Ringo. The rides were crazy! I played the bumper car and skyride, where it's a big 360 degree swing.

The skyride was freaking crazy! The first few turns was okay, but after that speedy turns with the seats lifted in the sky, I closed my eyes, only taking a few seconds peak.

Even when I shut my eyes, I still shouted like a mad woman, hanging on the dear seat, drooling. I was too afraid to let go of my hands just to wipe my saliva. I felt that there's a drooling dog in me.

When the ride ended, I can't even walk straight. Wah...pening!

Nevertheless, it was the best crazy ride I ever experience. Universal Studios, here I come!! Haha..

Ending the night with that, was worth it. We all went home, talking about the sky rides along the way. It was great!

Salam,
Rohani
