Quick Updates

Salam all,

Didn't post for a month now. Was very busy with couple of stuffs; house renovation, work & school!
Here's a quick update:

1. House renovation almost complete
As Dad turns 55 on 17th Dec 2009, he used his CPF to renovate our house's 2 bathrooms and all
the entire house's floorings. Living room flooring's is glossy beige flat cement while our bedrooms flooring's are made up of wood. All these were done by Hamid & Son's contractors within less than 3 weeks! While waiting for the renovation to be done, our family moved to cousin's house few blocks away. The main renovations are now done except for wall painting which we all did it as a family. My room is now pink! Instead of the old ugly yellow. Hah..
I need new bedsheets and pillow to make my bedroom fully revamp!

2. Parents sought of 'adopt' our cousin
As said in the previous paragraph, my family stayed in our cousin house while waiting for the renovations to be complete. My sisters & I used to be very close with these cousin since we were kids. However, as we grow up and busy with school then work, we did not get in touch often. When we moved temporarily to their house, we bond back. This time, with their youngest 12 years old brother. Their mum just passed away last year and their dad re-married thus did not stay in the same house with them. Few days after my family moved back to our house, his dad (my pakcik) came to request if we could look after his son till he's mature enough to live by his own. And so we did. He's been in our house for a week now & we already treat him as our own family. I do not know how long my parents are going to nurture him but I bet it's going to be long enough.

3. Last day of school
Today was the last UT and it was suck. I do not know which formula to use and which numbers to input. Pray hard I will not repeat again...!

I've change my blog skin to XML template. Still under construction.
