Happy 25th Birthday, Ayang!

Salam all,

The Surprise Birthday

2 days ago was Irwan's 25th Birthday! It seem like yesterday we just celebrate your 22nd Birthday 3 years ago.

On his birthday, I've made a surprise visit at his workplace, after I am done with my tuition. It was 11pm. With the help of his cellogue, I managed to board the train he was working him. He was really shocked when he turned his back after I called him, "Hello sir? Sir!"

The 2nd surprise was a box of chewy junior with written birthday message I gave to him.

The 3rd surprise was today where I gave him Adidas hamper which I wrapped like it's for hantaran.

Today was awesome! Finally we get to spend one whole day together. Transformer was great! It's a must to watch though sitting on a chair for more than 2 hours can cause butt to ache.

It's not frequent for us to spend one whole day together due to our working life schedule. It only happens once a month. On other days, we get to spend less than 5 hours or even lesser than that, as his off days usually falls on my work day which ends at 6pm.

It was not love before the relationship, it was love in the relationship
I don't believe that we managed to come this far, celebrate your birthday together for the 3rd time. We barely know each other for one week we've met but our relationship can last for years. I was not totally in-love with him nor 100% attracted to him when we were in a s0-called one week 'friendship' (well, I don't feel that we have friendship relationship anyway). I do have no idea how my mouth would just automatically says, "U like me, right?" and not using my brain to think rationally. Haha. I know I am thick skin. It was in the relationship, we just to know each other better and through hell and heaven, we survived.

Respect your relationship
I never liked to blog much about our arguments and his behaviour I do not like. You can never find any blog entry telling readers, how bad my boyfriend is and how broken-hearted I am towards him. Because I truly respect our relationship and the emotional break down we shared. I only shared this with my close friends who will and had never said "leave him" because to my opinion it will only make things worse. Instead, they will help to heal my uncertain emotions, and told me to think it rationally.

I remembered this speech which I heard over the TV, "If you do not like your partner behaviour at that time, think about the sweet memories you shared together and think about the good behaviour which you like about him/her even out of 10, 9 of them are behaviour you dislike and only one you like. Even though it's only 1 behaviour, it can save the relationship."

Irwan isn't the 100% perfect guy I dream of. But I know he's the guy close to my heart, a great best friend and a partner whom I wish to share my journey with.

HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY, Ayang!

Best regards,
Rohani
