Updates

Assalamualaikum...

Hi all! I know it's been nearly a month since I last update my blog. It's either I am lazy or I just pretend to be a busy woman.

My part-time job as a Retail Assistant in a 24 hours convenience stores has given me an enjoying experience plus upgrading my knowledge about business. I am still reading on financial education and business books on Robert T.Kiyosaki. I wish I have the whole collection of them in my cupboard. Eversince I read his books, my financial status has improved though my spending habit has not change that much. I realized it's not how much you spend, it's what you spend. Besides that, my knowledge about business has help me a lot in my modules such as Marketing. It's my favourite module of year 3. I hate Business Process Modeling because it is 'how-to' business instead of 'why'. Alright, I shall stop rambling about business and finance. Once I start discussing about this topic especially with Carmelia, it will be a never ending conversation.

A Mystery Shopper will enter the store and conduct a surprise test for one of us without notice. They will conduct this test once every month. Last month, the Mystery Shopper came to the store while I was on duty. She tested me. The result was out. I was surprise. I was awarded 100% customer service and I did not really remember who the Mystery Shopper was. For the first time, our store was rank 2nd for that month. Employer and employees were happy. Customer service is very important in business aspect. No matter how good is your product but your service is so poorly done, don't even think your sales going to increase. Good service makes your customer wanna come back for more.

My celogues came from different kind of backgrounds. Though they make look rowdy from the outside, they are actually nice if we treated them with respect. I guessed we really should not make any assumptions in the first place even we dislike his/her looks. I learn so much from their mistakes. Mistakes are the best education in life rather than scholastic education which discriminate mistakes. And I really am lucky to have my life in this way.

There's a lot of times I ponder what I am doing here, specially in school. In the morning, when I took the bus to interchange, I always saw many people running to catch the bus, afraid of being late for work. I saw them keep looking at their watch and some have the worried faces. They are really running for time or for money? They were so scared they are going to lose their job that they are willing to do anything to please their employer. It's the lack of financial literacy that cause them to be that way. Keep running for nothing. At certain time, I do feel that I do not want to get a job but be financially free after education. That after several thinking, I do feel that I need to get a job for knowledge.

My boyfriend, Irwan and I has just celebrated our 1 year 5months anniversary on Saturday. Eh wait, we actually did not celebrate coz he's stuck in the forest while I was working. This is my longest relationship ever. In the past, my relationship never go beyond half a year. It was not easy to handle relationship for a long period of time yet it's not that difficult. Sometimes, I do feel like taking the wooden chopsticks and stick it in deep inside his two nostrils or bite him like the vicious Pirana fish. Haha.. Nevertheless, he's still my best friend, my partner, my further soulmate, my boyfriend and my burden..opps! Kidding.

Abang and Putri are in great shape. Putri still laze around like a princess while Abang always walks around the house like a security guard. Till now, he will guard the rubbish chute inside my house. Haha..

Alright then, I shall end it here.

Salam,
Rohani
