The Final Goodbyes

Assalamualaikum...

Today's blog entry will consist of two final goodbyes moment - my last day with W76D & my late grandma who had just passed away 2 days ago.

I know I should have updated the my end day of Year 2 earlier. Our favourite Facilitator gave us yummy chocolates on his final day with us. The lesson ended up with laughter during the photography session. There are quite a lot of shots we took, most of them are candid but I shall post a few of them.

It's been a great ride with the dudes and babes in W76D. Every moment with them will be cherished and treasured.

It's been months my late grandma suffered from stroke. Her condition worse the previous 2 sunday that the doctor said, there's no hope for her to survive. The last time I visit her at the hospital was on Thursday, with Irwan. 2 days ago, on Monday at 6.10pm was her last breath. My family received the sad news 20 mins later and we all rush to our grandpa's house to clean up the place before the dead body arrived.

The neighbours were all shocked and they came to us and asked about our grandma. Everyone, including the neighbours, friends, family and relatives came. The body will be burried the next day, so we left the house about 11.30pm and came back the next morning at 8am where mandi mayat will occurred.

The emotional moment was the part where we all kiss her forehead for the last time, almost everyone cried. At about 10am, she was safely buried in the muslim cementery.

I never expected it will be so soon. Allah loves her more and she had to go. All we can do is pray for her - Al Fatehah.

The shocking thing when we entered Atok's house on that Monday, my siblings and I saw our photos when we were young at the table. That was the only photo we've found.

The boy on the left is our cousin.
Next to him is, my 3rd sis, 2nd sis, 1st sis and ME!

This photo was taken at late grandma's house during Hari Raya but I had no idea which year. I do remember the purple baju kurung.

All moments with her will be cherished and treasured. May her soul be in peace. Amin..

Salam,
Rohani
