Temporary Mute - the cause of a swollen throat

Assalamualaikum...

Finally, blog updated!

School re-opens and I got no mood at all. Dragged myself into the classroom, almost everyone of us are not excited about the first day at school after the boring 3 weeks holidays. Monday was okay. But.. on tuesday early morning, I was feeling uneasy, body temperature kept rising and had an earthquake headache. Did not came to do, miss the FYP talk & my last OP UT. Had a hard time eating a soft bread. Everytime I tried to swallow food or drink, my throat felt a very sharp pain like a needle poking through continuously. Even eating porridge was very difficult for me, for the first time in my life.

Anyway, I came to school the next day as my fever and headache is getting better. Unfortunately, my throat is getting worse. I can barely talk to anyone. During presentation, I force myself to talk, tolerating the pain. I don't think anyone in the room are able to understand what was I presenting about. Irwan refused to talk to me because he said that it's like he either talking to the wall (because I cannot speak) or he felt like he's talking to a mute. Hmph!

Thursday, I decided to call it off and headed to polyclinic with Carmelia. Yup, we both didn't went for lesson. 3 hours waiting. I talked to her as if I was mute. I brought a book and a pen for me to communicate with her. The doctor said my throat is swollen. She gave me 8 types of medicine..but I just took 4 of it. I spill out the antibiotic capsule because I seriously cannot swallow it. Huhu...

On Friday, my condition was getting better and I stopped consuming the medicine. Due to that, I had slight fever during my date with Irwan the next day.

I am now doing voluntary job as a tutor teaching 6 primary 6 PSLE students every Sunday morning. And they really talked a lot that I had to raise my voice to shut them up. Due to that, my throat problem come again. Today, my voice is like a rockstar.

Well, I hope that tomorrow is a new healthy day for me.

Forget about the previous story, now to happy moments. haha..

Last Saturday, I went shoe-hunting with my darling Irwan at ISETAN since my sis gave me a voucher for it.

Bought RETRO shoe!! Haha.. Cool uh, I love the design.

For the first time, we makan at Bedok Corner. The place where we've been wanting to eat in since last year.

The satay was great!

This Sunday, Irwan & I watched a horror Thailand movie 'Body #19' at PS. Went to his house first, then went out for date.

Orite. I'm lazy to write about my date. Haha. Just enjoy browsing the photos okie!
