Our First Year Anniversary - 19 Nov

Assalamualaikum...

Hello everyone! Due to the overwhelming and urgent request from my friends, GreenApple & LaMamasita to update my blog, now I will.

19th November 2007 was our First Year Anniversary!! But we celebrated it 2 days earlier as it falls on weekdays.

17 Nov, Saturday, my darling Irwan gave me a lot of surprises! First, he told me to wait for him @ 9am, CCK MRT station but by 8.30am he was waiting for me under my block. Second so-called surprise he brought me to Botanic Garden. We picnic there, ate Macdonald's breakfast which Irwan belanja. Why so-called surprise? He said we are going to picnic at Pasir Ris but we took bus 67 and it is so obvious that we are going to Botanic because he keep looking at the bus stop name.

The third surprise:
He gave me an Anniversary Gift.

Guess what is in the photo frame?

A 'graduated' anniversary cert he made all by himself!
His gift for me always made me laugh my head off. The first gift was a manual handphone book that he wrap with wrapping paper. Now, a never seen before anniversary cert!

And I bought for him a stainless steel keychain with our names craved and our picture on it.

Creatures from Botanic Garden:

After the gift surprises, we explore the whole of Botanic Garden. Saw many man-made waterfalls:



As we walked, we reached upon the Swan Lake. I expected the Swan to be small in size and timid. But they are super friend and huge!








We walked till the end of the map - Holland Rd. Took a bus there to PS. We watched BeoWulf. Ok la.. not bad but I wonder why it is NC 16 when it is just an animated movie; the only thing the characters are almost naked.

The fourth and last surprise:

He brought me to Sakura Restuarant for lunch @ Far East Plaza.

*jarang tau kite makan kat tempat mewah*

He told me to pose beside the restaurant to prove that we've been there.

After that, he said, "Awak kite nyer surprises da end." Thus, we headed to Sheng Shiong Ten Mile for food and stuffs shopping. I know it is cheap-skate but it money saving!

Went home earlier than I expected.

The one year of togetherness makes me look back on our sweet (and sour) memories.

I remembered the day we first met. First outing was at VivoCity & Plaza Singapura. He talked a lot that whenever I talk he will cut my conversation.

A week after, we were officially together although I barely know him. I remember days before that I asked him, "Awak suke kite kan kan kan?". So that makes us together till now. Or else, he will not have the gusts to say it. We went official in the bus! Haha.. That day, I was invited over to his house, we went cycling together and then go Sheng Shiong. Last stop, Esplanade.

Just few weeks after we were official, he had to go BMT. Along with his family, we antar him to Tekong where I asked him, "Nak kena bawak passport tak?".

2 weeks later, I got to see him with new look - no goattie, botak and tanned.

Only after 3 months in Tekong, his skin becoming fairer but he had put on weight.

And most of our photos should include the Makan Time! It's compulsory for us

Total dates: Countless! Almost 95% of the weekends we spend together

Makan places: Al-Ameen, Fast-food restaurants, Far East Plaza and lots lots more...

And the list goes on...

1 year being together is of course tough but an enjoyable journey because we know about each other a lot better through arguments. Because that's when we see the other party true colors. But the most important thing is that we learn to handle difficult situation and go through it together. The moments with Irwan has been up and down, there's laughter, cries and fire like you want to throw him out of the window. Khakah! *joking*
