Im so pissed off with the Social Studies O level exam. I did study hard enough for it. I memorize 4 chapters which are all under Growth of Nations theme. I thought that will be enough. Most students studied just that also as this theme had never came out for 3 straight years for O levels. Even mine and other teachers advice that to study that them only. It will be safe. Guess what came out today?

SEQ
1. Conflict in Sri Lanka (unspotted topic- came out last 2 years)
2. Conflict among countries (definately unspotted topic- came out just last year)
3. Venice (not really spotted coz too many factors to memorize)

Arrrr!!!! The four chapters I studied like mad, not even one of it came out! Like what sey. So unfair. The best part is the SEQ question 2 because that chapter came out last year!! Just last year!! This is the first time O level had ever given repeated question of last year! Abeh ape kiter blajar tak come out buat ape nak mengajar sey..3 tahun plak tuh! About Sri Lanka, 2 years ago da come out..the same exact question repeated this year. Kalau kluar Northern Ireland tak pe la..ni Sri Lanka. Same sey.. The setter are trying to make us failed. There's no doubt that many will flung the Social Studies paper. Aperak!!!

When I look at the Essay question, I felt like crying but I changed my mind. Haha. Dlm hati, "Lantak je la buat.. main tengeh je.." I did the SBQ first coz that's the topic I had studied. It was easy, but no guarantee la. After wards I did SEQ. Finally, I choose to do Question 2.

2a) How far does scare resources caused conflict among countries? (12m)

I wrote to some extent la. I remember what I had memorize last year for N level for this chapter. But wasn't that clear la. I bring in my own knowledge about Malaysia and Singapore fight over a land. And from the textbook, about the water dam btwn Israel and Jordan. The other factor that I brought out is racism (main hentam je..) and competition to see which country is the most powerful nation- rapid industralisation and rearm force. I also brought in my History knowledge. In conclusion, I agree to the question.

I think my answer was okay but wasn't that detailed or elaborate. But it was 1 1/2 page. I didn't argue that much. Hopefully, I will do well for this question

b) How far does the USA aid are more help or (smth like make the situation worsen) in the Korean War. (13m)

I really forgot this chapter. All I could remembered is that Korea is spilted into two parts- North and South by a barrier (I forgot the name..). USA aid weapons and money to N.Korea ( I think).

I disagree to some extent because USA did not really ease the tense situation will now. The Korean War was unresolved.

In conclusion, USA was more of a help in the Korean War because the situation was not worse than then. (And I drew a smiley face at the end of the answer paper..haha) =)

I was giggling a bit when I wrote my essay answers cause I wrote what's in my mind without thinking if it's true or just made up stories.

Hai..ape nak uat. Da lepas pun. At least Social Studies is over!!! Hehehehe..

We had Math Paper 1 this morning too. It was okay, but I had no confidence in it, afraid I made careless mistake.

Tmr will be Chemistry paper..Wee..my favourite!
Wish me all the best!

After the Social Studies exam paper over, Sumita and I decided to eat Tom Yam Noodles at Siam Kitchen. When the reached the restuarant, there was no one there..so empty, not even a customer. So we waited for 10minutes for someone to serve us.
Biler aku da fed-up, aku jerit,"HELLOOOOOOOO!!!"
Tak de reply.
Skali lagik, "OI!"
Tak de reply.
So, in the end, Sumita and I went to the kitchen. Ada orang rupanyer. Dorang kata dorang tak dengar. Aperak..

Kepunan aku nak makan Tom Yam..hehe

Ok la, gtg.
Wslm,
Rohani
